Our Privacy Policy was developed as an integral part of our commitment to combine information about our organization with the utmost integrity when dealing with our members and community partners. This policy describes how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide as members and partners. We trust that it will assist you in making informed decisions when you use our site.

The information we collect:
People who visit our website may provide us with two types of information:

Personal information - information that you knowingly volunteer to disclose to us. This is collected on an individual basis.

In addition to providing the above information, if you correspond further with us through our online community forum, email or chat, we may retain the content of your messages together with your addresses and our responses. As a member, you will always have the opportunity to notify us that you do not wish to receive communication from us. You can do this by sending an email to info@bolivarheights.ca. Members receiving notifications through our community forum may turn them off using the selection button in the “Profile” >> “Notifications and Email” tabs. Members can also turn off a particular topic by clicking on the appropriate link in the notification email.

Cookies
Cookies are a feature of a web browsers software that allows web servers to recognize the computer being used to access the web site. Cookies can remember what information a member accesses on the web site. We use this information to collect important statistics on visitor usage. this information assists us to design and arrange our web pages in the most user friendly manner so as to better meet the needs of our members and partners.

Sharing information with other community groups and affiliates
We allow outside groups and companies to provide information and offers of services and products on our website that may be valuable to our community. However, we cannot make any representation about the practices and policies of these groups and companies.

Secure information transmissions
Email that you send to us may not be secure. For that reason, unless we specifically state that transmissions are secure, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as credit card or other account numbers through an unsecured electronic message.
