Rules for Bolivar Softball Association Park

The following rules have been presented to the Bolivar Heights Community Association to co-operate with the community in keeping the Bolivar Heights Park a safe, clean, accessible area for the neighbourhood and other community groups.

 

1. City Bylaw #13480 Section 21 states "no alcohal beverages in any public park". And it will not be accepted in this public park.

2. No drugs will be tolerated in this public park anywhere.

3. No coolers in dugouts or around the playing field area.

4. Any players using foul language towards an empire is subject to a two game suspension. Second offence will be banned from Bolivar Association.

5. Dogs are to be tied at all times. If anyone's dog is aggressive to people it will be banned from the park.

6. Anyone caught urinating in bushes is subject to a $25 dollar fine from their team's performance bond.

7. League fees to be paid on time, no exceptions. Fees not paid, cannot play.

8. Clean your dugouts after each game. Please use garbage cans available to you.

9. No rescheduling of any games unless a rainout.

10. Anyone having a physical confrontation will be banned from the park.

 

Neglecting any of these rules will result in a $25 fine to be paid before next scheduled game. All fines are towards performance bonds. We have a recycling program in place. Please use clear bags for recycling.
